ROYCE' chocolates are not certified Halal as some of our chocolates contain liquor. However, the majority of our chocolate selection is entirely liquor-free and gelatin-free, made from plant-based ingredients. Please see below for a full listing of ROYCE' chocolates which contain liquor.

Only a few ROYCE’ Chocolates contain liquor, namely Nama Chocolate Champagne Pierre Mignon, Nama Chocolate Bitter, Nama Chocolate Au Lait, Nama Chocolate Matcha and Bar Chocolate Rum and Raisin.

Besides Nama Chocolates and Potatochip Chocolates, all ROYCE’ Chocolates can be kept for 3 months, as long as they are stored in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Nama Chocolates require extra care, refrigerated at 10℃ or below to ensure the quality and taste.

All ROYCE’ products are manufactured and packed in the ROYCE' factory in Tobetsu-cho, Hokkaido, Japan.

A fine, delicate pairing of select chocolate, fresh cream with a hint of prestigious liquors, Nama Chocolate is a velvety smooth 'fresh' ganache chocolate, containing at least double the amount of cream usually found in conventional chocolates. With fresh cream and liquor accounting for almost a quarter of combined ingredients, the extremely high moisture content level gives Nama Chocolate its distinctively silky palate and smooth texture, allowing it to melt slowly on your tongue. We offer 8 kinds of Nama Chocolate on a regular basis. From time to time, there are Seasonal Nama Chocolates available, which are made in limited quantity.

With proper storage, the shelf life of Nama Chocolate is 1 month. We recommend keeping your Nama Chocolate refrigerated and consuming it as soon as possible.

We recommend Nama Mild Cacao, Nama Ecuador Sweet, Nama Ghana Bitter or Nama Mild White for children as they are completely liquor free.

Depending on weather conditions, it takes approximately 3 to 4 hours for the ice gel found in Nama Cooling Bags to melt. This will cause the accompanying Nama Chocolate to melt as well. It is not advisable to leave Nama Chocolate exposed to direct sunlight and heat.

To maintain the crispiness and crunchiness of Potatochip Chocolates, the shelf life of Potatochip Chocolates is 1 month. We recommend to store Potatochip Chocolates in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.

Pure Chocolate are round discs of chocolate bursting with the flavour of premium cacao beans sourced carefully from around the world.

Each double box of Pure Chocolate contains a set of 2 flavours, 20 pieces each, and a total of 40 individually wrapped round chocolate pieces.

Each single box of Pure chocolate contains 1 flavour, a total of 20 individually wrapped round chocolate pieces.

The cacao percentage in each Pure Chocolate variant is as follows:

• Extra Bitter – 90%
• Mild Bitter – 80%
• Venezuela Bitter – 68%
• Ghana Sweet – 59%
• Sweet – 55%
• Milk – 43%
• Colombia Bitter – 60%
• Colombia Milk – 51%

There are a number of unauthorised re-sellers and online retailers purporting to sell original ROYCE' chocolates, some of who falsely claim to have been authorised by ROYCE' Malaysia or Japan. There are also unauthorised sellers who take customer's orders, charge their credit cards, but do not have our chocolates in stock to deliver. If you have purchased ROYCE' chocolates from these unauthorised sellers:

• We have no way of determining whether these chocolates are stored, handled and delivered properly or otherwise compromised.
• We cannot guarantee the quality, taste and texture of the chocolates purchased
• We are unable to help you if you have a problem with an unauthorised seller or online seller or receive defective products.

As such, we strongly recommend that you only purchase ROYCE' chocolates from proper channels like this website and our official retail stores.
